In 2023 I visited Dersbovallen for a Derome-Åskloster home game in Division 4 Halland. Last season the club were promoted to division 3 and with them using two different grounds for their home games I was looking forward to visiting Klostervallen in Åskloster. With the club using two different grounds there are only 5-6 games to choose from though. Having been to Galtabäck on Thursday evening, a 1pm kick-off at Klostervallen for Derome-Åskloster v Hittarp in Division 3 Sydvästra Götaland on Friday afternoon was of course a perfect match for me.

With Klostervallen being only 25 minutes by car I could sleep late before heading to the breakfast room. After checking-out I went for a walk along the sea and I was not exactly the only one with this idea. Kick-off at Klostervallen was at 1pm and shortly after noon I parked my car outside the ground. There is a covered wooden main stand at Klostervallen, quite similar to the one at Galtabäck actually, and also some benches to sit on on either side of the stand. I estimate around 120 spectators turned up and most of them went back home disappointed. Hittarp were by far the better team and deservedly won 3-0. Derome-Åskloster hardly had a shot on goal and they will have to improve if they want to avoid being relegated back to division 4. Two games in really nice weather for me on this mini-tour and hopefully I will do some more of these trips later on in the season. Viskavallen in Kinna is now my only missing ground in Division 3 Sydvästra Götaland so that will be on my radar.
