FridlevstadGround: Skogsvallen Visits: 1 Date: 24th June 2026 Match: Fridlevstad GoIF - Johannishus SK 2-0 (Division 5 Blekinge) Attendance: 75 Blekinge is one of my favourite destinations for lower league groundhopping. There are so many lovely, idyllic grounds and I now only have five grounds left to visit. At the end of June there are not many fixtures left before the summer break but on Wednesday evening Fridlevstad hosted Johannishus at Skogsvallen in Division 5 Blekinge. Kick-off was 18.30 and as I set off (80 min drive) it was close to 30 ℃ in Kristianstad and when I parked my car outside Skogsvallen it was “only” 26 ℃. Skog is the Swedish word for forest and being surrounded by trees Skogsvallen is quite an idyllic ground to visit. There are a few small open stands at Skogsvallen but being direct in the sun I actually decided to stand in the shade on the far side for most of the game. On my way to Fridlevstad I passed Johannishus and by car it is only a 15 minute drive between the two villages. Joahnnishus are in the relegation zone and really needed to win this evening. They were backed by 15-20 fans but that didn't help. Fridlevstad made it 1-0 early on and in the 2nd half Fridlevstad made it 2-0 from a free-kick. In the closing stages Joahnnishus pressed forward but never managed to pull a goal back and it ended 2-0 at Skogsvallen in front of around 75 spectators.
