HerlevGround: Herlev Stadion Visits: 1 Date: 9th October 2021 Match: Herlev - Frem 0-3 (3. Division) Attendance: 280 My long-term ambition for Denmark has been to complete the top two divisions, which I did in August, and to have been to every ground east of Store Bælt (where the 2nd toll bridge is) in the top four divisions. As we entered October I was only missing Herlev and with them being bottom of the table in 3. Division it was difficult to find an interesting game. I realized the meeting with BK Frem would probably be the last chance this season to visit Herlev Stadion with a decent attendance. It was glorious weather as I made it across the Öresund bridge and my first stop in Denmark was Brøndby Stadion. I want ot go to Brøndby v Rangers in the Europa League but online it was only possible to pay with MobilePay. MobilePay is only available with a Danish bank account (in Sweden with a similar system, Swish). According to the club website it should be possible to buy a ticket in the club shop using credit cards and after a while I was successful. The ticket had to be sent via e-mail though but at least I now had my ticket. From Brøndby Stadion it then took me around 25 minutes to reach Herlev Stadion. The ground was redeveloped a few years ago and it was still possible to see the remains of the old main stand. The current main stand has around 250 seats and this afternoon it was almost full. The attendance was announced as 280 and around 100 of those supported the visitors from Valby. Frem are looking for promotion but Herlev started brightly and hit the post early on. Frem were by far the better team though and in the end it was 0-3 on the score-board. I fully enjoyed my visit to Herlev Stadion and my attention in Denmark will now turn to visiting matches in Danmarksserien as well as the grounds in 2. Division situated in Fyn and Jylland. A trip to Bornholm would also be nice!
