On Saturday I was planning a game in Småland but the extreme temperatures meant I decided to stray at home. With the worst of the heatwave disappearing east I was once again looking forward to some live football on Tuesday evening though. My choice was to visit Örmovallen where Konga hosted Furuby in Division 6 Emmaboda (Småland). I had no idea what the ground would look like but once I had parked my car and entered I was pleased with my choice. Örmovallen is a really nice and idyllic ground and even though I knew the quality of the football wouldn´t be the best I had a great time at Örmovallen.

Konga v Furuby was the last game before the summer break for both clubs. In the 1st half the visitors had most of the possession but it was still goalless at the break. The 2nd half was more even and with 10 minutes to go Furby could finally break the deadlock and score the opening goal of the evening. Konga equalised in stoppage time but the goal was ruled out for offside and it ended 0-1 at Örmovallen. If you are interested in visiting idyllic grounds in the countryside Örmovallen should definitely be on your to do list!
