For Sunday I had the option to go to Klassmossens IP in Karlstad and thereby complete Division 2 Norra Götaland. With the game starting at 16.00 I would be home by midnight at the earliest I decided to look elsewhere though. In Alingsås I had the opportunity to visit two matches on Sunday and still be home around 19.00. After the final whistle in Stenungsund yesterday I drove to Alingsås where I stayed the night at the Grand Hotel. SK Mjörn would host Viskafors IF at 11am on Sunday at Bodarnevallen. At 1pm I could then visit Mjörnvallen for Alingsås v Bergdalen in Division 3 Mellersta Götaland. Once I had checked.out of my hotel I actually went to Mjörnvallen to get a look at the ground and to get an idea where to park later on as I would arrive only minutes prior to kick-off. From Mjörnvallen it then took me around 10 minutes to drive to Bodarnevallen.

Bodarnevallen is situated next to the railway line between Gothenburg and Stockholm but due to rail works no trains were passing today. I counted around 60 spectators and we could watch on as Mjörn took an early lead, 1-0 in the 6th minute. By half-time Viskafors had scored three times though and it was 1-3 at the break. There was a big dog next to me on the bench where I was sitting and he was very interested in getting hold of the ball. The owner really had to pull him back on numerous occasions. Watching the dog in action was almost more interesting than watching the action on the pitch! Anyway, no goals were scored in the 2nd half and it ended 3-1 to Viskafors.
