My main match on this trip was Grebbestad v Tvååker on Friday evening. Being quite a long trip I decided to stay the night in Kungälv (just north of Gothenburg) and go back home on Saturday. I was of course looking for games I could visit while driving back home and a 13.00 kick-off between Stafsinge and Onsala in Division 3 Sydvästra Götaland was a perfect match. From my B&B in Kungälv it took me around 80 minutes to reach Stafsinge IP, just north of Falkenberg. As has been the case in recent weeks the weather was very nice with sunshine and around 20 degrees. Stafsinge v Onsala was actually 1st v 2nd and as I parked my car outside the ground I was looking forward to an interesting encounter. Stafsinge IP has a proper stand on the west side but also plenty of benches to sit on. As I had finished taking my pictures I could hear someone say my name. Today´s referee assessor was Lars from Halmstad. I have met him on my trips several times before and it was a nice surprise to meet up with him again. He apparently (jokingly) told the referees I had come all the way from Kristianstad to look at them!

Before today Stafsinge had won all five games they had played. The visitors had four wins so a proper top of the table clash at Stafsinge IP this afternoon. Once the game started it was the visitors who were on top and at half-time they were deservedly 1-0 up. Stafsinge tried their best but Onsala were too strong for them and the visitors could win 3-0. The three points mean Onsala go top of the table and I wouldn´t be surprised if they win this league. After the final whistle I said good bye to Lars and maybe we will meet up again in Sochi for the Germany v Sweden game in the World Cup, we both have a ticket for that game. I was back home around 17.00 and I could look back on a nice and sunny weekend on the Swedish west coast.
