Tyringe

Ground: Tyrs Hage

Visits: 1

Date: 17th August 2024

Match: Tyringe - Vittsjö  1-0  (Division 6 Skåne Norra)

Attendance: 30

Being tired after a long week at work and a birthday party on Friday evening I decided to take it easy on Saturday. The nearest new ground was Tyrs Hage where Tyringe IF hosted Vittsjö GIK in Division 6 Skåne Norra and although knowing the attendance would be (very) low this was to be my match today. Kick-off was at 13.00 and half an hour or so prior to kick-off I parked my car outside the ground. Tyrs Hage has gravel running tracks but I still liked the ground. Surrounded by a grass wall and trees Tyrs Hage is a nice and idyllic ground well worth a visit.

Vittsjö GIK are bottom of the table with only one point and on paper this should be an easy win for mid-table Tyringe. In the 1st half Tyringe had most of the possession but the only goal came from a well taken free-kick, 1-0 at half-time. Vittsjö actually had several chances to equalise but their finishing skills were shocking and when Tyringe also failed to score the result would be 1-0. Vittsjö has a women's team playing in Allsvenskan and there can´t be many clubs in Sweden where the difference in the pyramid between the men's and women's team is as big as is the case with Vittsjö. 40 minutes after the final whistle I was back home.
