AllerødGround: Allerød Idrætspark Visits: 1 Date: 2nd September 2023 Match: Allerød - Greve 3-1 (Danmarksserien, pulje 1) Attendance: 80 The game at Ballerup Idrætspark finished at 12.55 and 20 minutes later I parked my car outside Allerød Idrætspark. Allerød FK v Greve Fodbold in Danmarksserien (level 5) was to be my 2nd game of the day and arriving 10 minutes prior to kick-off I was very pleased with my planning. Allerød Idrætspark was opened in 2013 and there is only one seated stand. That stand is part of the clubhouse and I was actually a bit impressed with the facilities inside that stand. There was a café and a lounge area where you could have something to eat and drink. For a club like Allerød this is a great asset. Allerød FK was founded in 1927 (as Lillerød IF) and in 2004 the club changed its name to Allerød FK. In 2010 the club played in the Danish third tier but in recent years they have been further down in the league pyramide. As was the case in Ballerup earlier in the day it was glorious weather at Allerød Idrætspark. The only stand was directly in the sun and at times it felt more like July than September. Greve had a young fan who drummed and chanted throughout the game but that didn't help, 3-0 after 32 minutes. Greve pulled a goal back but it was 3-1 at half-time and despite doing their best Greve couldn´t find any more goals this afternoon. My day out in Denmark was coming to an end but hopefully I will be back in a few weeks time! Entrance Welcome!
