Ground: Ängelholms Idrottsplats
Date: 19th April 2008
Match: Ängelholms FF - Örgryte IS 0-3 (Superettan)
Attendance: 1 925
The match against Örgryte was the first Superettan match at Ängelholms IP since 2002, the so far only season Ängelholm have played in this division. The ground has been gradually redeveloped over the years and with a capacity of around 3,000 it is a nice home for Ängelholm, the only downside is of course the athletics track. Ängelholm is situated just north of Helsingborg and combined with the fact Ängelholm is more of a hockey town it is not easy for the club to attract huge support for their matches. Todays attendance is only about 300 from the all-time record at Ängelholms IP.
Örgryte aim to go back to Allsvenskan and even if they won today I think they will have to improve a bit to gain promotion. The 250 or so away fans can, however, be very proud of their effort, excellent vocal support throughout the match!
