Hasslö GoIFGround: Skärgårdsvallen Visits: 1 Date: 26th August 2023 Match: Hasslö GoIF - Sillhövda AIK 0-4 (Division 4 Blekinge) Attendance: 90 Hasslö GoIF was founded in 1934 and the club is based on the island of Hasslö in the Karlskrona archipelago. To reach Hasslö you have to cross the Almö bridge as well as the Hasslö bridge meaning I had some really nice views during the closing stages of the 80-minute drive to Hasslö. I went to the pier to take a few pictures before heading to Skärgårdsvallen, the home ground of Hasslö GoIF. Skärgårdsvallen was inaugurated in 1956 and the main pitch has a nice wooden main stand. Today´s entertainment at Skärgårdsvallen was Hasslö GoIF v Sillhövda AIK in Division 4 Blekinge. It was raining in most parts of Sweden today but in the southeastern corner of Sweden the rain stayed away and in the final 15-20 minutes of the game the clouds disappeared and the sun was visible. On paper this should be an easy victory for top of the table Sillhövda but Hasslö, currently 9th (relegation play-off spot) in the table, fought very hard and at half-time it was 0-0. Prior to today I have had 65 consecutive games with goals and I was slightly worried at the break. Sillhövda were clearly the better team though and early on in the 2nd half it was 0-1. When the final whistle was blown it 0-4 on the score-board and Sillhövda was one step closer to promotion. I enjoyed my visit to Hasslö and hopefully they will stay up. ![]() Hasslö Hasslö Entrance Hasslö GoIF West side West Stand West Stand A closer look....
