JammerbugtGround: Sparekassen Vendyssel Arena (Jetsmark Stadion) Visits: 1 Date: 7th August 2021 Match: Jammerbugt - Fredericia 0-3 (1. Division) Attendance: 196 Jetsmark IF was founded in 1973 as a merger of Kaas IF and Pandrup Boldklub. Between 2008 and 2013 the club was known as Blokhus FC and in 2011 the club spent its so far only season in 1. Division. In 2013 the club was renamed Jammerbugt FC but the club has all along played its home games at Jetsmark Stadion in Pandrup. At the end of last season Jammerbugt was promoted to 1. Division meaning I had two clubs, Vendsyssel being the other, left to visit in order to complete the league. I stayed the night in Aarhus and from there it took me around 1h 40 minutes to reach Pandrup. As was the case yesterday the traffic was intense and as expected traffic in the other direction (southwards) was even worse. The weather forecast was not the best but as I parked my car outside the ground it was windy but the rain stayed away. Jetsmark Stadion is a very basic ground with only one (very) small stand on the west side. On the east side plenty of chairs had been placed on the small running track and behind one of the goals there were chairs as well. I don´t know what the ground requirements in Denmark but this ground doesn´t look like a level 2-ground. A drink (beer/soda) was included in the ticket price and I enjoyed my soda with a traditional pølser. I found a good spot but unfortunately the attendance was poor, only around 200 were present this afternoon. Denmark playing France in the Olympic handball final in combination with the poor weather forecast probably contributed to the low attendance. Jammerbugt FC is cooperating with Malmö FF at the moment but in today´s match only Mubaarak Nuh started. He had a shot saved by the Fredericia keeper but later lost the ball in midfield leading to Fredericia scoring. At half-time it was 0-1 and now the rain arrived as well. After a while a steward told those present to take cover in the clubhouse and I could now also see lightning and hear thunder. The re-start was delayed several times and the match was eventually called off. I firmly believe the officials could have waited for another hour but that was not the case. I have had four postponed games but this is my first ever abandoned game. The second half was finally played on Monday evening and two late goals by Fredericia made sure the visitors could go back home with a 3-0 victory and three points.
