The match at Åbyvallen finished at 14.50 and 15.06 I parked my car outside Lindevi Idrottsplats in Lindome. 30 seconds after I entered the ground Lindome scored the first goal of the match and a couple of minutes later it was 2-0 to Lindome. Thankfully I arrived in time for those goals! Lindome vs Nike was a match in Division 2 Västra Götaland and before this match Nike were in the relegation play-off zone. Lindome were only three points better off than Nike so an important match for both teams. It was really warm, close to 30 °C this afternoon and after taking a few pictures I took cover in the shadow in the south side of the ground. Lindevi IP is a very basic football ground with a few rows of seating in the south side of the ground. The supporters club Fula Gubbar (English: Ugly men) had their own stand but not many fans in that stand today. The other three sides are open and one female fan found some couches behind the goal in the east end to sit in which looked a bit strange. She seemed to speak to the Nike goalkeeper so I guess she was the only away fan at this match. This was not to be her day though. Lindome played really well and were 3-0 up at half-time. In the second half Lindome scored again to make it 4-0. There was then a cooling break before Nike could pull a goal back but the match finished 4-1 to Lindome. After the match I drove to my hotel where I was to stay for two nights. Tomorrow I go to Norway for two matches and hopefully the forecasted thunders storms will stay away.
