NättrabyGround: Nättraby Idrottsplats Visits: 1 Date: 23rd May 2024 Match: Nättraby GoIF - Rödeby AIF 2-2 (Division 4 Blekinge) Attendance: 150 Last weekend I completed my last remaining ground in the three Division 4-leagues in Skåne. In neighbouring Blekinge I still have 5 grounds left to visit and when I noticed Nättraby GoIF hosted Rödeby AIF on Thursday evening I decided to go to this game. Nättraby is situated west of Karlskrona and with ongoing roadworks (a new motorway is being built) it took me 1h 15 min to drive to Nättraby Idrottsplats. I arrived 15 minutes prior to kick-off and managed to get one of the last parking spots at the car park at the ground. Once inside I quickly noticed Nättraby IP is yet another lovely football ground in Blekinge. I have said before but Blekinge must be the Swedish county (landskap) with the highest percentage of nice grounds. For this level (6) the attendance was a good one, I counted to around 150 and a decent number of those supported the visitors. There was a group of young Nättraby fans who with flags and chants gave their team a good support. I have seen this at a number of games recently and to see young fans get involved like this is really nice to see. On the pitch Nättraby were the better team in the 1st half and at the break they were deservedly 2-0 up. In the 2nd half Rödeby had more of the possession and after 60 minutes they pulled a goal back. I still expected Nättraby to hold on to all three points but in the 90th minute Rödeby equalised and it ended 2-2 at Nättraby IP. ![]() Nättraby GoIF Entrance East side Dug-out West Stand Players and officials entering Kick-off East side View of play East side East side South End West side Young fans West side West Stand North End View of play Pano |
