Rambergsvallen was opened in 1935 and is situated on the island of Hisingen, a part of greater Göteborg. The ground was not up to the new standards for hosting Allsvenskan football and in 2013 the decision was made to demolish the ground and build a new, football-only, ground. Rambergsvallen was demolished in early 2014 and the new ground, Bravida Arena was built on the same site. Rambergsvallen was the home ground for BK Häcken but the ground also hosted athletics. Rambergsvallen was famous for the ever strong winds from the sea but for my only visit, in June 2008, the weather was actually quite nice!
In July 2015 Häcken moved to Bravida Arena
