Having been to SfB-Oure v Holstebro on Saturday afternoon I decided to stay the night in Svendborg and go to a match on Sunday as well. At 11am on Sunday morning Tved Boldklub hosted Dalum IF 2 in Fynsserien at Tved Stadion and being only 10 minutes from my hotel this game was my obvious choice. Fynsserien is one of six leagues at level six in Denmark and is obviously the league for teams from the island of Fyn. Tved are in second place but only the winners will be promoted to Danmarksserien. With the leaders from Middelfart losing their game on Friday evening Tved could with a win today narrow the gap to only two points. The weather was yet again really nice and as I entered the ground 15 minutes or so prior to kick-off most of those inside were already drinking beer (from glass bottles). Tved Stadion is quite a nice ground and in total I estimate the attendance today was around 100.

Dalum 2 are already relegated and as soon as the game got underway Tved went on the attack. It was 3-0 at half-time and I was hoping for even more goals in the second half. Tved made it 4-0 but then Dalum quite surprisingly pulled a goal back. Tved made it 5-1 but another goal for Dalum meant it ended 5-2 to Tved. Two points are now separating them from the automatic promotion spot and I will follow their remaining results with some interest. From Tved Stadion it then took me around 3h 20min to drive back home and hopefully I will be back in Denmark one more time this season.
