Tyresö FFGround: Tyresövallen Visits: 1 Date: 14th June 2026 Match: Tyresö FF - Vendelsö IK 4-2 (Division 3 Södra Svealand) Attendance: 95 The 5th and final match on my trip to Stockholm was Tyresö FF v Vendelsö IK in Division 3 Södra Svealand at 6pm on Sunday evening. To me that is quite an unusual kick-off time on a Sunday but Tyresövallen was busy earlier in the afternoon with American football, Tyresö v Carlstad in Superserien. Tyresö FF is probably best known for its women´s team who in 2012 won Allsvenskan and two years later played in the women's Champions League final. The club ran out of money though and had to withdraw from Allsvenskan. The men´s team have played two seasons (1985 and 1990) in the 2nd tier but have in recent years been playing in division 3. Tyresövallen is a proper ground with a covered and seated main stand and an open terrace on the far side. Having been to Ängby earlier in the day you would imagine it would take quite some time to reach Tyresö (the other side of Stockholm) but once at Gullmarsplan the buses to Tyresö are every 15 minutes and I was in Tyresö 90 minutes before kick-off. I decided to have dinner at a local restaurant but still had plenty of time to make kick-off. Vendelsö are in the relegation zone and with Tyresö going 2nd with a win I was expecting a comfortable win for Tyresö. Vendelsö scored two early goals though and the 2nd of those was a real screamer but at half-time Tyresö had scored three goals, 3-2 at the break. The 2nd half was less entertaining but one more goal for Tyresö gave the home team a 4-2 victory and a move to 2nd place in the table.
