VinslövGround: Sparbanksarenan Visits: 1 Date: 28th April 2023 Match: Vinslöv - IFK Osby 1-2 (Division 5 Skåne Nordöstra) Attendance: 150 In the lower leagues plenty of clubs play on Friday evenings and Friday 28th April was no exception. Plenty of local games to choose from and I decided to go to Sparbanksvallen in Vinslöv for Vinslövs IF v IFK Osby in Division 5 Skåne Nordöstra. It had been a nice, sunny day but with it being a bit windy I decided to bring a winter coat. The drive to Vinslöv is only 20-25 minutes and once I had left my car I realised bringing my winter coat was a good idea. Kick-off was at 18.45 and it was starting to get really chilly in the wind. IFK Osby are aiming for promotion to division 4 and have started with three consecutive wins. Vinslöv had a match abandoned due to a severe injury but have otherwise started with two wins. A top of the table clash and a far bigger attendance than I had expected. No official number was given but my headcount said 145. On the pitch Vinslöv started the better team and made it 1-0 early on but in the 19th minutes IFK Osby equalised, 1-1 at half-time. The 2nd half was a scrappy affair and when IFK Osby had a player sent off in the 75th minute I expected Vinslöv to find a winning goal. That was not to be the case though. With 10 minutes to go the visitors scored a really beautiful goal and despite being down to 10 men they held on to make it four wins out of four this season. IFK Osby hit the bar in the last minute of stoppage time and their victory tonight was well deserved. 10/12 for me in this league now and hopefully I will complete it this season. ![]() Entrance North Stand North Stand North Stand Players and officials entering West End View of play North Stand North Stand North Stand View of play East End South side South side |
